Hello everyone!
I'm so glad that we finally have a cell group blog! Thanks Jia Xin!
The main purpose of this blog is to keep everyone informed of what is happening like events or any announcements which Darren and I have to make. But this blog is not only for leaders to post entries, the rest of you guys and girls and feel free to blog too. Basically the guidelines are:
1) Do not use any vulgarities
2) Do not criticise people using the blog, but use the blog constructively (for good use) and to encourage one another
So, bascially you can share anything you want on this blog, feel free to do that and please check this blog at least once a week to keep track of any new announcements.
So what is happening this Sunday at Lighthouse Woodlands?
Parachute Band is in the house!!
Date: 5 Nov, Sunday
Venue: LEW
Time: 2.30pm-5.45pm
We'll be meeting as a cell this Sunday at 11 am at the front porch (vending machine area) of Lighthouse Tampines. We''ll be going for lunch first and then taking the chartered bus at 1 pm to LEW. The event will start at 2.30 pm and end at 5.45 pm where we will take the chartered bus back to LET and reach LET at around 6.30 pm.
You are highly encouraged to bring your friends, there'll be prizes for the cell group who brings the most friends but let's not concentrate mainly on that, we're doing this because it's what we were meant to do, to save souls into the kingdom of God! (Matthew 28:18-20)
So please keep this event and your friends in prayer, pray that God will soften their hearts and prepare them for this Sunday. I believe that if we work together as a cell group and commit this to God in our own quiet time, we'll be able to impact our friends' lives.
So let's gear up for this Sunday yeah? And please reply to Darren's and my smses. If there are any changes like you suddenly cannot make it or your friend can't make it, please do inform us because Darren and I have to be accountable for the number of people going. So I'll see you guys this Sunday and remember to bring your bible and notebook! God bless!
